A delicious twist on classic vegan pizza with sweet and tangy BBQ sauce instead of traditional tomato sauce, fresh veggies, and a crust baked to perfection.

Ingredients
For the sauce
⅔ketchup
¼cupapple cider vinegar
¼cupcane sugarorganic
¼tspblack pepper
1tspcumin
1 ½tspsmoked paprika
For the dough
9ozpizza dough
For the toppings
¼cupgrated potatoplaced in water so it does not become brown, drained before use
¼cuponionsliced
½cupzucchinijulienned
8ozmushroomssauteed
½cuproasted cauliflower florets
Instructions
Make the sauce
Combine sauce ingredients in a saucepot.
Set over medium-high heat and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring. Set aside.
Make the pizza
Preheat oven to 400F. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface.
Place the pizza onto the pizza plate.
Spread the BBQ sauce over the pizza dough.
Add grated potato (squeezed from water previously), onions, zucchini, mushrooms, and roasted cauliflower.
Bake the pizza for 18 minutes.
Serve warm, sliced before serving.

Notes
Instead of selected veggies, you can use desired ones. This pizza will rock with some cherry tomatoes, roasted chickpeas, and/or the addition of Vegan chicken.
If you want you can use Vegan store-bought BBQ sauce.
For the pizza dough/base, you can combine:
- 1 ¼ cup flour - ¾ tsp cane sugar - 1 tsp instant yeast - 1 tbsp olive oil - ¾ cup lukewarm water - ¼ saltCombine yeast, sugar, and water in a bowl and set aside for 10 minutes.After 10 minutes combine flour with salt. Make a well in the center of the flour, and pour in the yeast and water mixture, along with olive oil. Stir until the dough comes together. Knead the dough on the floured surface until smooth and let it proof until doubled in size. To use; punch down the dough and shape it into a ball. Roll out on a floured surface with a rolling pin.Recipe tips:
Bake pizza on a pizza stone or pizza plate.
Avoid baking on Fan bake, if possible, as it will dry it out.
Do not over-knead dough as it will make your pizza dough bread like
You can freeze pizza, unbaked or baked. For the unbaked version, make sure your dough fully rises before freezing. All toppings are freezer-friendly, and the freezer will not affect them.
If you want to freeze-baked pizza, you can do that too. Just thaw it before heating and serving.
The best way to protect pizza from the freezer is wrapping tightly in a plastic wrap.
