Vegan Waffles Recipe
This is the best Vegan Waffles Recipe and it's crispy and fluffy all at the same time.
Servings 5 Servings
- 2 tablespoons flax seed meal mixed with 6 tablespoons water
- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon Baking powder
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- 2 cups Unsweetened dairy free milk
- ⅓ cup Oil, canola or vegetable or olive oil lite
In a small bowl mix the flax seed meal with water and set aside.
In a large bowl, add flour, baking powder and salt. Whisk to combine.
Add milk, and oil to dry ingredients and whisk until smooth.
Add the prepared flax seed eggs (you can use chia eggs instead). Mix until smooth.
Heat waffle iron and spray with non-stick cooking spray.
Using a pourable measuring cup or ladle, fill waffle iron with batter.
Cook for 5-8 minutes or until golden brown, depending on waffle maker.
Remove and serve immediately with syrup, powdered sugar or fruit.
