Vegan Waffles Recipe

This is the best Vegan Waffles Recipe and it's crispy and fluffy all at the same time.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons flax seed meal mixed with 6 tablespoons water
  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon Baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 2 cups Unsweetened dairy free milk
  • cup Oil, canola or vegetable or olive oil lite

Instructions

  • In a small bowl mix the flax seed meal with water and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, add flour, baking powder and salt. Whisk to combine.
  • Add milk, and oil to dry ingredients and whisk until smooth.
  • Add the prepared flax seed eggs (you can use chia eggs instead). Mix until smooth.
  • Heat waffle iron and spray with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Using a pourable measuring cup or ladle, fill waffle iron with batter.
  • Cook for 5-8 minutes or until golden brown, depending on waffle maker.
  • Remove and serve immediately with syrup, powdered sugar or fruit.
