Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookies are a favorite in any household.

Ingredients
½cupgranulated sugarorganic
1cupbrown sugar, packed
1cupdairy free butter, softened
1tablespoonflax seed meal and 3 tablespoons water
1teaspoonvanilla
2 ¼cupwhole wheat pastry flour
1teaspoonbaking soda
½teaspoonsalt
1cupwalnuts, chopped
1cupchocolate chips
Instructions
Mix the flax seed meal and water and set aside so that it can thicken.
Cream both the sugars and vegan butter together until it is light and fluffy.
Add in the flax egg and vanilla and mix well.
Add the flour, baking soda and salt. Mix well.
Fold in the chocolate chips and walnuts.
Spoon by a heaping tablespoon on an ungreased baking sheet about 2" apart.
Bake at 375 degrees for 8-9 minutes. Cool on a wire rack.
Notes
Great with almond milk.TO FREEZE:You may freeze them in any of the methods shown in my article How to Prepare Food for the Freezer. They defrost quickly so it really doesn't take any planning. Just put them on a plate for an hour or so and enjoy.
