This delicious Ginger Vodka and Orange Juice Cocktail is a spicy-sweet concoction that will have you breathing a sigh of comfort. It's fruity and refreshing with a bit of spice that brings easy vodka drinks to the next level.
This delicious cocktail drink has a bit of a twist and it's all because of simple homemade syrup.
Ginger is added to the making of a simple homemade syrup whether you use crystallized and candied or fresh ginger.
Coconut sugar is also used too to add to the sweet and subtly spicy kick.
Then there's vodka. The ideal alcoholic base to mix with orange juice and other easy vodka drinks.
The result is a refreshing orange juice and vodka cocktail that simply wants you to sit back and relax.
There are two different vodka and orange juice cocktails below. One uses fresh orange juice and the other uses store-bought orange juice.
The store-bought orange juice is already sweetened and fresh oranges are a bit calmer with their natural sweetness. Both are delicious and each is a little bit different.
The directions for both are almost identical just the ingredients are switched.
If you used crystallized candied ginger with store-bought orange juice the drink would be super sweet. You might like that though.
Here are the two separate recipes and I added both of these easy vodka drinks to the recipe card print out below.

You know what I like about cocktails, well, besides that they taste so good?
The glassware, ice buckets, swizzle sticks, measurers, muddlers and ALL of the paraphernalia.
There are so many cool and kitschy items that it is hard to resist.
I have a retro collection of goodies from the 50’s and everything I see in the stores today are equally desirable.
So I just keep collecting.
Both of the glasses on this page are tumblers and they are short and fat. They hold an 8-ounce cocktail perfectly including ice. That makes them a 10-ounce glass tumbler.
Just the right size for a party and some delicious appetizers. And when you're wondering what goes good with vodka here are a few of my favorites that will go perfectly.
🥟 Cocktail appetizers
- Pesto Tortilla Rollups are very popular but they have only 5 ingredients and nothing needs to be cooked.
- Another simple appetizer that can disappear very quickly are these Crescent Roll Pesto Appetizers.
- Colorful Bell Pepper Bruschetta Crostini are like nothing you've ever had and the topping can be used as a dip too!
Those are just a few of the simple appetizers that can go with easy vodka drinks. Are you looking for more drinks to please the palate? Here are a couple more that you just might like to check out.
🍹 Easy cocktail recipes
- Silver Cadillac Margarita is a classic and takes advantage of white tequilla and Cointreau.
- A pretty red drink that uses pomegranate is the tasty Pomegranate Swizzle.
- Since I seem to be going with colors why not check out this beautiful and delicious Patriotic Passion Cocktail.
Now is the time to stir up this tasty concoction and relax.
